Kobe Bryant retired from professional basketball at the age of 37. He announced his retirement on November 29, 2015, and played his final game on April 13, 2016. Bryant had played in the NBA for 20 years, all of which were spent with the Los Angeles Lakers. He had won five NBA championships, two Olympic gold medals, and was an 18-time All-Star. After his retirement, Bryant continued to work in the basketball industry as a coach, commentator, and mentor to young players. Sadly, Kobe Bryant passed away in a helicopter accident on January 26, 2020.
